Staying cozy.

Let me introduce my jam-baby. She’s 15 months old, now, but this was taken when she was brand new. I love this photo. During these first days she spent quite a bit of time swaddled in a yard of sherpa that had simply been cut from the bolt, washed & dried. She loved snuggling in it and I loved that it was simple and pure. Just like her.

It seems as if we’re getting a snowstorm tonight. A real Nor Easter they tell us. I don’t mind, I love that snowed-in feeling. It reminds me of those first few days, with nothing to do but sit under the babe. This jam-baby doesn’t let me sit under her for long, these days. But she’ll indulge me a bit here and there.

Stay cozy,

Dory
